AUTOMATED UNWINDER

The automated unwinder is designed for work with big and heavy film reels. The machine height was designed to facilitate loading ofthe reels with film. A machine operator pushes the material from a pallet onto feeding rollers, positions them and starts the production cycle.

One or more reels with film can be placed on the unwinding rollers, depending on their type and production requirements. To prevent reelmovement along the roller, vertical blockades are installed between the reels and on their external sides. They maintain a correct path for the unwound material.

The unwinder advantage is that even reels with crushed or squeezed cores can still be unwound, while it would be impossible on unwinders equipped with expanding rolls.

The speed of material being unwound is adapted automatically by floating rollers. For uniform film tension, buffer position can be adjusted by a potentiometer. Moreover, the unwinder is equipped with a film end and break monitoring system. When the above-mentioned system is activated, the machine stops immediately and displays relevant information on the main panel.

The unwinder width is adapted to the width of a heat sealing machine with which itis to cooperate.
